Unrealistic goals... or bad thinking?

I recently came across a post in a forum I belong to that was discussing how there seem to be so many of us trying to make millions of $$ in short periods of time... and at what expense. The person suggested that there were lots of people out there trying to achieve say $1 million in 90 days, at all costs, ie, doing whatever it takes to get there... giving the impression that you would be neglecting family, friends, health etc to achieve this.

While I feel this is quite a valid point, there are plenty of us that do this, but this is generally because a clear goal has not been set or the person has what I call "stinkin thinkin", they want to achieve this goal and go about working towards it, but they think they can't do it, so they just keep going around in circles, believing that they have to put in long hours, sacrifice family time etc to get there.

In the end, money is NOT everything, but it does help pay the bills and you need to have a good attitude towards money so that you aren't beating yourself up every month that you have not made millions!

My point? Thoughts become things... choose the good ones. For every negative thought you think, you need to replace it with three positive... that is how "strong" negativity is. I am no stranger to negative thinking, we all have it, but I am aware of it now and the minute I think it, it is squashed with a blast of positive thoughts.

If you think you can make a million in 90 days, go for it, I know you can do it. Just make sure that you remember your family, friends, health and obligations... it is all about balance. There is no point working your butt off to loose your family, friends and health and be left with material things... this will not make you happy for very long. Love, happiness and support are what we need to survive.

Wishing you all the best
Lise
